It was 1993 and video game culture was on the fringes of mainstream socialization. Short and to the point; everyone who played on PC or console was considered something new and unexplored until then. Just as we, the players, had to go through a certain development in this regard, whether it is about our own collection of experience or gradual understanding by those less interested, the game concepts themselves also needed to push through the otherwise hard shell of progress. A special example is the Doom series, which unintentionally started a certain evolution in the mentioned year and without which we cannot imagine the standard for the FPS genre today.

The first three parts, which of course did not come out at a frenetic pace of distribution, currently appeared on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch systems for a ridiculous amount of a few euros. This pack of imported hell came to our editors as a divided trilogy, which of course does not mean that we will bore you here today with content that has long been said. Let's rather together and gently bend over this legend, which, by the way, will see a new notch in a few months with the subtitle Eternal.
