Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, or CS:GO is an online computer game. This is a relatively new game as it was released in 2012, following on from previous versions of Counter-Strike. You can get the game through the Steam or Xbox Live Arcade platforms.

Until 2018, the game was only available for money, but in that year, a change came and the game is now available for free. In addition, a new battle royale mode was added - "Danger Zone". New weapons, characters, maps (both classic and new) and game modes were also added.

It is an FPS (First Person Shooter) game, which means it is a shooting game. If you are a complete beginner, you can familiarize yourself with the game by either playing with the shoes (with the computer) or by training with the computer as well. CS:GO can be controlled either with a keyboard and mouse or with a DualShock 3 controller.
What I like about this game is that you can play with friends or just online with random people. I have to admit that adding a friend on Steam and in the game itself is not very easy if you don't know how to do it, but if you are persistent, it won't take you more than ten or fifteen minutes. CS:GO offers us eight online modes to play. But if you are new to the game, there is a Casual mode, which is designed for beginners, so it is light. For example, you cannot shoot or injure your teammates in any way. But if you're the competitive type, you can play Competitive mode, in which five players play against five, and the game ends with a victory for the team that won sixteen rounds - or even a draw. The more you play, the more XP you get and the higher your level, the more options you have to play this game.
