Maybe it's not so surprising, but ArmA seems to have lost sight of OF, because it doesn't bring drastic changes to the core. As a nameless soldier thrown into the midst of a mob of angry northern neighbors with a hammer and sickle in your back (or behind your back?), you must face a fierce onslaught. Sahrani is an otherwise peaceful island, but if it weren't for the American military to maintain order, it would probably be a wood shed sooner or later. However, one day something goes wrong, there is an attack by the "northerners" and you find yourself in a real mess, divided into fourteen campaigns.

Of course, there are also separate missions to choose from, in which you can try both training and attacking the enemy and defending positions. You will always discover something new, sometimes certain situations will surprise you, in any case, you don't have to worry about boredom. It should also be added that training was omitted in the story campaign, in which you are immediately thrown into a hard and merciless fight, relying on your own legs, wits and weapons.

ArmaA doesn't play games, on the contrary - it tries to offer players a portion of realistic war action. Again, one or two bullets are enough and suddenly instead of completing tasks you are reading some quote about war. You must not allow yourself to be seduced by frivolous decisions, even if sometimes they cannot be avoided. It is better to stick to the established plan, path and follow your unit, in the best case, lead it directly, and responsibly. And if you fall into a trap, don't panic, retreat to a secluded spot and wait, or return the attack.

Is it really that realistic?

It is not pleasant to be shelled by enemy tanks or helicopters. As a rule, the magazine from the M16 is not enough for them, in this case it is better to grab a rocket launcher or a grenade and try to eliminate them. True, a completely different situation occurs when you directly take control of one of the controllable vehicles or aircraft, but even in this case you are not immortal. Many times it is rather the opposite and the worst situation occurs when you control the helicopter. Horror and horror, I say - the steering is confused, the helicopter pulled to the side many times for unknown reasons, sometimes I didn't even manage to brake it, let alone control it meaningfully, or even land it.
