Today marks the expected release of Microsoft Flight Simulator for Xbox Series consoles. Although this plan seemed feasible from the start, the release of the PC version must have raised concerns among fans. Even computers can't cope with Asobo studio's latest venture without compromises, and to play in 4K resolution you need a set whose price rises to the upper tens of thousands of crowns. However, this does not apply to the console version, which although in all respects and details cannot be equal to how Flight Simulator can be set up on PC, but the mentioned compromises are not so much that one can talk about affecting the gaming experience, let alone in a negative sense.

On the most powerful Xbox Series X, the game performs great, keeps the framerate at 30 frames per second, and only occasionally drops or the entire game freezes for a few seconds. But this happens especially during flights over large metropolises, which benefit from p[censored]ogrammetric data and take part of the data for rendering from the cloud. But there aren't many such moments, and Flight Simulator offers almost everything that PC gamers have known for less than a year. You can go wherever you want, it is also possible to set all flight rules, weather conditions, possible aircraft malfunctions and enjoy the landscape, which already looks real at a height of a few hundred feet. Although we are not so satisfied with the offer of new scenic flights or the revised tutorial, but in combination with the placement of the game in Game Pass, literally all Xbox Series owners are offered the opportunity to taste a real next-gen experience.
