Although the monster from the intertitle would also apply to the Ukrainian city, here we are moving into the future. Sevastopol is a remote space station, gradually becoming a space port. A port that was unlucky with a capital R. It was precisely to this port that the message of Ripley, who had been missing for many years, and the ship Nostromo, which we set out to reveal in the skin of her daughter, arrived. Even when talking about the future, forget the polished Star Trek with tricorders and always perfectly pressed tracksuits. The fidelity to the Gigerian aesthetic is great, as is the distrust of the air-conditioning industry of the future, so everyone is sweating, countless electronic devices flicker around the walls, and the environment with all those hatches, corridors and passageways is beautifully mechanical and almost artistically complex. If anything, the graphics have definitely done well, and be prepared to make your computer sweat along with everyone else's.
Questions about the future of humanity are not on the agenda, as well as mowing down dozens of enemies.
There is not so much of a story in the epic sense of the word, under the classic alien line you solve rather micro-tasks related to immediate survival and the fate of individual survivors on the station, including your crew. Sometimes, however, the game takes a narrative swing, and fans of the brand will certainly not come up short. This also applies to those who do not know English, because the game contains Czech subtitles directly from Comgad, including graphic modifications so that everything fits even in the analog frayed HUD of the game. Some scenes are reminiscent of Gravity, while in others you will get the chance to enjoy "with your own eyes" some unforgettable experiences known from the original film. And all the while, of course, you're wondering how it's all going to turn out, whether you'd rather kick the intruders into space or fry them, how many times they'll come back, and whether you'll actually meet old Ripley at the end...
